Leslie A. Tuft was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1976.  She obtained a B.S. in political science with a minor in philosophy from the University of Utah in 1997, where she was a National Merit Scholar and graduated Summa Cum Laude.  Ms. Tuft attended law school at Stanford Law School in Stanford (Palo Alto), California, where she received the Hilmer Oehlmann Jr. Award for excellence in legal research and writing and the Lawrason Driscoll Moot Court Award.  While at Stanford, Ms. Tuft served as Co-President of the Kirkwood Moot Court (2000-2001).  She graduated in 2001.

Ms. Tuft has been an associate attorney with Sullan2, Sandgrund & Perczak, P.C. since January 2005.  She is a member of the California, Colorado, Denver and American Bar Associations. Ms. Tuft co-authored Residential Constructioon Law in Colorado with Messrs. Sandgrund and Sullan, which book received the 2011 National Award of Professional Excellence from the Association for Continuing Legal Education.
