Our firm has extensive knowledge and experience dealing with all of these in both lawsuits and alternative dispute resolution settings.

Attorneys Scott Sullan and Ron Sandgrund are authors of Residential Construction Law in Colorado (Denver: 2008) and Residential Construction Defect Litigation (Seattle: 2000), the only books devoted to Colorado home and building defect law. Mr. Sullan and Mr. Sandgrund are also co-authors of Chapter 14 (Residential Construction) of the Practitioner's Guide to Colorado Construction Law (Robert Benson, Ed., 2007), in addition to many articles on construction law. Our firm’s books and articles have been referred to by the Colorado Supreme Court and Court of Appeals in construction law cases.

Sullan², Sandgrund, Smith & Perczak, P.C. has assumed a leading role to protect homeowners’ rights. Its attorneys frequently are asked to testify before the Colorado legislature regarding proposed laws affecting Colorado homeowners and homeowner associations. In 2007, the legislature passed the Homeowner Protection Act of 2007, a consumer protection law that the firm strongly supported.
